Our patented, EZ to convert frame design allows for effortless conversion from a couch to a bed and back again (and requires zero clearance). In addition, this same design features two recline positions for the ultimate in lounging comfort. The strength of the Freedom Futon Bunk is truly incredible, with a maximum capacity of over 1,000 lbs., and represents one of the very best values you will find. Built with Premium Southern Yellow Pine, this bunk is clean and chemical free and comes unfinished. It can be used as is or is ready to stain or paint, making it EZ and affordable to personalize any room!

Twin over Full: The top bed takes a standard Twin size futon or mattress while a Full Size futon mattress is needed on the bottom

Twin XL over Queen: The top bed takes a standard Twin XL (Twin extra-long) size futon or mattress while a Queen Size futon mattress is needed on the bottom.

• NOTE: for the XL over Queen option, we make our seta decks to be technically a Full XL (54 x 80). You can use a Full XL mattress if desired, but they tend to create more expense due to the custom sizing of cover and bedding
• For those who use a Queen Mattress, as recommended, the mattress will measure 60 x 80 and there will be a slight overhand of 3 inches on each side compared to the flatted seat decks measuring 54 x 80. (If this overhang will bother you, you should consider the FullXL mattress option)

LADDER INCLUDED with Freedom Futon Bunk (all other lofts bunks do not include the ladder because the sides can be used as a ladder; this design has a side arm, so the ladder is necessary)
