This innerspring futon mattress is upholstered in a pleasing, soft to the touch Mocha Micro suede fabric and does not require a futon cover. (Though you can put one on if you choose to do so.) The durable innerspring core is surrounded by two layers of 2” Fibre-Foam (a bonded cotton and polyester compressed pad) and 1” of cotton to create a softer contact point for your comfort. The higher resilience of the innerspring prevents this futon from slouching in the frame, promoting a clean look with straighter edges. The 13″ gauge springs in this Futon mattress contribute to a firmer feel, keeping it supportive and comfortable for years to come.
